Get started
Start developing BDEngine plugins. Create a button and window, install a JavaScript file, and learn about metadata and editorAPI.
From a JavaScript file to a working tool
Your first result is a button that opens your own window in the editor. You need basic JavaScript, a text editor, and BDEngine. You can install a local file without publishing it in the catalog.
The editor stores the plugin and runs it on the next startup. The first example therefore covers waiting for BDEngine to be ready, checking the installation, and reopening the window as well as creating the interface.
